I’M GLAD YOU FOUND ME!

I’m Caroline, an OT that specializes in working with babies, toddlers, young children, and their caregivers.

I am proud to have immersed myself in understanding all of the systems that influence child development. I’ve integrated the science of best practice and art of humanity in my OT practice.

My goal is to honor the uniqueness of each child and situation while evaluating any barrier that may be impeding participation in everyday tasks.

I saw a community need for increased fostering of relationships and support for caregivers. I have found a way to support this need through outdoor young childhood classes and sensory support for caregivers.

Because, as a local parent and clinician, I understand.

Testimonials

  • My daughter can't wait to participate each week!

My daughter frequently asks, “is it time for Mrs. C’s class?” Having participated in multiple sessions of Nature Moves Me, it is easy to understand why! Not only is Caroline/Mrs. C one of the kindest people you will meet, she is incredibly knowledgeable about the needs of young children. Using this knowledge, she has created a magical environment for children to explore and make sense of their world. My daughter loves the routine of knowing we will sing and move together on our blankets before exploring the new invitations for play each week. As an educator, I love the opportunities Caroline facilitates to hone my child’s gross and fine motor skills, language, problem solving, and social emotional skills. As a mom though, I just adore watching how much fun my daughter has in such a magical environment! It has also been so helpful to connect with other caregivers in our community.

  • It was so rewarding to watch my son's confidence within the group increase week after week!

Nature Moves Me was such a wonderful experience. I signed up for the program as an opportunity for my two year old to socialize in a small group of peers while spending time outdoors, and I'm certainly glad I did. Caroline is extremely compassionate and nurturing, making each child and caregiver feel welcome and included. The program is designed to be child-led which lets each kid explore and interact with the prepared activities within their own interest and comfort level. It was so rewarding to watch my son's confidence within the group increase week after week-- so much so that we've already signed up for the next session!
