THE PROCESS
Screening
I will meet you exactly as you are in a child-familiar location, most frequently the child’s home to evaluate the child’s developmental, physical, social, emotional, and sensory needs and abilities in a playful and approachable manner.
Treatment
I will establish a trusting relationship with the child and their support system in order to establish functional goals. We will work together to better understand the child’s needs and interests using a strengths-based approach.
Graduation
I provide neurodiversity affirming and identity-affirming care across the continuum until all family members are comfortable with the progress made and feel capable to continue without skilled support.

Time and location will be a collaborative effort between the caregiver and me.

No, you do not need a referral from the doctor. However, if you choose to submit to insurance, it is often helpful to have a referral for OT from your child’s pediatrician.
